Ashley Haberman
Director (ACSM-EP Certified Personal Trainer, Bachelor’s In Exercise Science)
Why did you become a coach?
I've been an athlete all my life and when I went to college I decided biomechanics and corrective exercise seemed interesting. I fell in love with helping people move better and feel better.
Ben Ward
Coach (NASM Certified Personal Trainer)
I became a coach because I genuinely enjoy helping people better themselves, build confidence, and become stronger versions of who they are.
As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, one of my favorite ways to train is powerlifting. I enjoy the challenge of getting stronger and helping others discover what they're capable of through consistent training and hard work.
When I'm not coaching or lifting, my go-to post-workout meal is hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and cottage cheese. One fun fact most people don't know about me is that I once spent the night in the Library of Congress.
My favorite mantra is "Memento Mori" — a reminder to make the most of the time we have and live with purpose.

Sam Vercruysse
Coach (ISSA Certified Personal Trainer)
I became a coach because I love helping people, and being able to improve someone’s fitness and quality of life is what motivates me most.
I believe coaching is about more than just exercise. It is about helping people feel stronger, move better, and build confidence in themselves through consistent effort and support.
My favorite ways to move are squats and roll outs. I enjoy exercises that build strength, stability, and overall function.
One fun fact most people do not know about me is that I grew up on a farm. That experience helped shape my work ethic and appreciation for hard work.
My go-to post-workout meal is grilled chicken, quinoa, and broccoli.
One quote I always come back to is: “Don’t get bitter, get better.” – Tiger Woods
Sofia Maimone
Coach (Studying Exercise Science)
I decided to become a coach because I've always loved working out and connecting with people. Coaching felt like the perfect way to combine both while helping others become stronger, healthier, and more confident.
I'm currently studying Exercise Science, and one of my favorite ways to move is doing backflips. They're fun, challenging, and give me a great stretch through my back.
A couple of fun facts about me: I was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and I have a French Bulldog named Oakley. After a good workout, my go-to meal is a nice steak.
My favorite mantra is "There is no such thing as failure. You can either win or learn." It's a reminder to keep moving forward, learn from every experience, and never be afraid to try.

Alex Zine
Coach (NASM Certified Personal Trainer)
I became a coach because I enjoy helping people achieve their fitness goals and supporting them as they work toward becoming stronger, healthier, and more confident.
As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, I enjoy staying active both inside and outside the gym. Some of my favorite ways to move are hiking and kayaking, especially when I can spend time outdoors and take on a new adventure.
One fun fact most people don't know about me is that I spent a month in Morocco. After a good workout, my go-to meal is salmon with zucchini pasta.
My favorite mantra is "The grass is greenest where you water it." It's a reminder that progress comes from putting consistent time and effort into the things that matter most.
Loki "the Baby"
The Mascot
Hi, I'm Loki — the official mascot and beloved "baby" of JMB Personal Training.
I may be small, but I have a big role on the team. My job is to bring smiles, energy, and good vibes to everyone who walks through the door. I like to think of myself as the welcome committee, morale booster, and four-legged motivator all in one.
I became a mascot because it was my destiny. I love swimming, attacking the battle ropes, eating carrots, snoring, and honestly… I'll happily accept almost any post-workout snack, especially if there's sauce involved.
Around here, I'm more than just the mascot. I'm part of the JMB family. I help keep the team spirit strong, remind everyone that fitness should be fun, and prove that every great training community needs a loyal best friend by its side.
After all, I'm a man's best friend.
